I'd find another book. Preferably a YMAA publication or anything fron Jan Diepersloot. Don't take vitamin D. Especially D3.

I highly recommend The Way of Energy by Lam Kam Chuen or any zhan zhuang book by the same author. Jan Diebersloot is also good, but I would still prefer Master Lam.

Standing Pole

Postby carry » Wed Jul 27, 2005 2:30 pm

Hi,

The true pearl is the little book "Wujishi Breathing Exercises" by Cai Songfang. Don't be put of by the title: this is the standing Jan Diepersloot is talking about.

For someone starting out with pole standing, get the Way of Energy book, (ISBN 0671736450). It is cheap and you will get a good starting point.
