Healthy lung qi healthy hair.

Postby internalfist » Sun Dec 13, 2009 5:01 pm

I was reading in one of my qi gong books that if your lung qi is good the hair on the sides of your head will be healthy.well the sides of my head my hair is great but the top is thinning.and im only 20. I looked through my books and havent found any thing on the top of the head or how to fix it. Does any one here know or have any suggestions?it would be greayly appreciated.thank you.

the top of the head - what vessel runs along it? Governing ;) learning the small circulation or microcosmic orbit may help (spring forest's active exercises are the best I've seen for it imho) and also perhaps scalp massage, brush your hair with a brush that reaches the scalp (=more scalp massage,) dont tax your sexual organs, and perhaps supplements that promote circulation (I'm unqualified to say exactly what though)...

I've also heard of some hair breathing practices, although I havent personally seen/read/been taught any.

I have an interesting tid bit about this. My hair is thick, but on the very top my hair was slightly thinner but not thin, and I guess my pants had rubbed the hair on my knee caps off.
Well anyways I noticed that when I began doing the microcosmic orbit that after a few weeks of that that if felt new hair sprouting up on the thinner area of the top of my head, and my wife confirmed that it was not just my imagination.
Later when I began to do the macrocosmic orbit where I ran chi through my legs, that the hair on my knee caps sprouted back.
I'm not saying that it works that way for everyone or not, I have no idea, but it did work that way for me.

It has been demonstrated that Alopecia is a hormonal problem, due mainly to the dihidrotestosterone, if you have Finasteride which inhibit the alpha5reductase (protein which reduces testosterone to dihidrotestosterone) you will see clearly improved your hair growth.

I seriously doubt that microcosmic orbit could improved your hair, if so, Dr. Yang Jwing Ming would have a lot of hair.....

I love qigong but I think is good be open to the current results from Scientific studies.
