I liked the last one Chow Gar Southern Praying Mantis,
I wish DR Yang would publish a DVD on 3 wars, I know its not in his syllabus but not all of the YMAA publications are and its a form of grate significance.

Interesting it seems similar to I Liq Chuan drills so may have the same reasons, it seems to have a connection to push hands/sticking hands.

If the style was originated from Bodhidharma... It was likely due to his teachings being spread from the shaolin temple where he was reputed to have taught, though it was likely not specifically taught as such by him, but formed from his foundation of principles - as so many different styles have shaolin roots. Bak Mai and even wing chun are of Shaolin ancestry.
