Does anyone have any experience using a wire whip for iron body training? I tried building one using the instructions from Mantak Chia. I used picture wire, which is actually a cable, because regualr wire didn't seem flexible enough. But it frays, plus it left little cuts when I thought I was barely using it, so I don't think it's good for the skin. Does anyone know of a better way to make one? You can order them but they're expensive. You can also hit your shins with a sock filled with beans, but supposedly the vibration of the wires is better.

Is this so you can whip yourself to get better pain tolerance or thicker skin? I would use something broader like just rope, honestly, you don't want to get cut up.
