friend / foe

What happens if I add a forum user with the "Add Foe" button? How do the foe/friend buttons work?

I am not sure if you ever had an answer to this, but on most forum sites I have used the add foe button hides a person's posts in threads. Apparently the idea is to prevent flame wars. Usually you can click a link and view the post anyway - it merely scrolls up the post on the sites I have used. If you had needed to, I wouldn't mind if you just did a temporary test with me, for instance, to see if there were any problems. I've never had need to use it though.
