Tarandus,

I delete this kind of spam and related false accounts about half a dozen times a day. It is a voluntary position, one I undertake with relish, but I do have many other responsibilities. I apologise that it was not gone before you logged on today, sometimes I am slow in the mornings. Measures are being taken to make the site more difficult for spammers to access. I agree this type of material is not appropriate for our site, no one wants to see it here, and truly my best efforts are made to keep it off.

Cheers Inga

Inga: thanks a lot for your reply, and I apologise for being over-hasty in my reaction. I agree, it was probably just because I happened to log on earlier than you, and of course I now realise, come to think of it, that many of us here are corresponding from different time zones. I greatly appreciate the time and effort which you put into site administration here, especially as you do this entirely on a voluntary basis. If I see any offensive 'spam' here in future, I'll just 'keep my own counsel' and ignore it. Thanks again. Kind regards and best wishes, T.

Tarandus,

I understand your reaction. You are part of the community, and have contributed much of your experience and positive thoughts here. I am happy for you to speak up about how you feel with regard to how the site is run and how things are done here. I will always respond to a private message if you have a question, and you are more than welcome to message any of the other moderators or members of administration. There is no need to keep "mum" about anything, but I agree, you may wish to wait a few hours to see if the spam goes away. If it does not, please do speak up! It's perfectly possible I've overlooked something.

Cheers Inga

Inga: thanks for your response, and I'll send a private email on this sort of thing in future if I feel the need. Actually, I don't personally disapprove of porn, within reason and provided neither the performer(s) nor the viewer are exploited, though personally, I get more of an erotic thrill from reading stories than looking at pictures or films. On the other hand, I don't think it's necessary or appropriate for information about that sort of thing to appear here, as it's irrelevant, and then again, others may actually be offended. Thanks for your positive response to my messages. Kind regards, T.
