Fundamentals DVD

Postby JamesC » Fri Aug 26, 2011 2:06 pm

Hi all,

I'm curious about the content on the fundamentals DVD. I'm really looking for something that has a lot of drills that focus on striking and kicking combinations for kung fu practice.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

This DVD has all the basic stirkes and kicks of Shaolin Kung Fu. It does not focus on combinations, which you dont traditionally begin training until you are working on sequences.

The LOng Fist sequences DVDs offer many combinations as you progress through from Basic to Advanced:

Thanks for your response Sifu Yang.

I'm curious, if a particularly motivated individual, such as myself, being 25 decided to practice using Dr. Yang's dvd's and trying to attend seminars, is there a possibility for some type of certification from YMAA?

Also, if that IS possible, would I need to also study White Crane along with the Longfist?
