Awesome videos Jon! This is a great way to get a glimpse of a unique way of life at GM Yang's Retreat Center. The disciples train for over 8 hours every day, even training and teaching at a local school at the weekend. Each day begins at 6am with one hour of meditation before breakfast. Taijichuan is taught as well as Shaolin and Chinese language. They raise their own food (animal and vegetable) and cook for themselves.

The videos show their good nature shining through the rigors of long hours pushing the body's limits, topped off with academic study and chores. There is not much time to rest on the mountain, a lot needs to be achieved. So watch the videos !! Support their media studies, making videos is a great way for them to reach out to us and to learn a method to help disseminate the knowledge and expertise they are gaining from Master Yang.

So check out the demos! The tournament footage shows the some of the Taijichuan form, Shuai He, Qi Me Gun, San Cai Jian, Yi Lu Mai Fu, and Xiao Hu Yan. Watch Santiago "muscle up", the dramatic damage of TJQ applications, and be glad you are not there helping to clean out the chicken coop. As well as the physical work, you can see a Kung Fu Kitchen classic and learn the recipe the guys use to make the soy milk they consume in huge quantities. Music is also part of their curriculum, enjoy hearing accomplished cellist Jáchym and Master Yang taking a turn on the harmonica.

And before you go, you must watch the VLog for news of their current contest! Win extremely cool Retreat Center goodies like wearing apparel and DVDs. Javier will explain all....so stop by and meet Jon, Javier, Jáchym, Santiago, Frank and Patrick.
