New taijiquan DVD?

Postby maartenm » Wed Nov 02, 2005 10:40 am

Last week we were hanging around after our class to watch the older students train and I overheard (from across the room) a conversation between our teacher and a student about the taijiquan DVD, that Dr. Yang now did some things in a different way than on the DVD, and that he meant to put out a new DVD every 5 (?) years or so.

I'm thinking of buying it, so my question is: will there be a new taijiquan DVD soon? I don't think it matters much, but still something inside me would hate it if I bought it now and next week you'd bring out an 'updated' one :)

Hello. The DVD 'Taijiquan, Classical Yang Style' is the most current version of Dr. Yang's form.

He has not yet filmed a new version, but he may do so in the future. YMAA has no plans to publish a new DVD of Dr Yang's form in the next 2 years, as other titles are scheduled.

Thanks for writing.
