Medicine Balls

Postby Yatish Parmar » Sun Jun 08, 2008 4:27 pm

OK, so what drills do you guys do? (don't mention cake!)

I'm currently:

- throwing up from a half squat, catching it, slamming into the ground
- using it for push-ups
- resting it on the inside of my knee and flicking it up (using the inside of the quads)

and if I have a partner we are throwing it at each other, catching-absorbing into si liu bu and emitting in deng san bu.

medicine ball is my favourite, besides fit ball (that is a big ball like pilates ball).
With medicine ball you options are limitless, push ups, back exsercises, pull ups, throwing it into a wall from 2 meters and than catching it.russian twist,an so on. very good thing, how much kilograms does your ball have?

5kg. It was a gift. I think I am going to buy a heavier one in the next few weeks. I've added a whole bunch of exercises in, I'm finding it good for 15 minute intensive bursts.

that is good. And i think that you will not need a heavier one.
