How can i improve the speed of my movements and thinking?

I've read that eye training helps. When you can see things faster, you can react faster.
If your keys fall in a pool of hot lava then man, let them go.

I've found that doing preset drills helps a lot, but you have to be careful to keep reacting and not just "rehearsing" the movements. Mixing up the rhythm with your partner helps that a lot. Doing forms as fast as you can has helped me as well.

General muscular speed: Plyometric and resistance drills and exercises.

Reactions: Reaction drills (person touches your forehead, at random, you block, that kinda thing)
