Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is the medical term used for severe psychological stress caused by years of exposure to traumatic experiences, PTSD can also be the consequences of years of suffering from serious physical injury. The symptons of Post Traumatic stress can be; aggressiveness, depression, dissociation, emotional detachment, memory loss, restlessness or insomnia. Non medicine or drug related treatments are; Qi Gong, soft style Tai Chi, cognitive-behavioral therapy, group therapy, exposure therapy, a vegetarian diet to prevent anger bursts, eat & drink healthy in general and eating the biggest meal between 12 or 3 o'clock midday time to prevent insomnia.
People who suffer from PTSD sometimes are least likely to have any type of equanimity, sometimes they may have trouble keeping on good terms with other people because of an emotional disorder caused by years of trauma because of a long term serious physical injury.
My advice is to have awareness about these type of people who have this problem.
