洞賓百字碑/Lu Dongbin Baizibei – Lu Dongbin’s One Hundred Character Stele

Nurture the Qi, forget words & guard it.

Subdue the Xin, act without acting.

In movement & stillness know the Ancestor.

There are no things, whom do you seek?

Genuine constancy complies with things.

Comply with things or else be confused.

If not confused, the character will naturally stabilize.

When character stabilizes the Qi naturally returns.

When Qi returns the Elixir is naturally produced.

Mate Kan & Li in a dream.

Yin & Yang grow returning repeatedly.

Everywhere transforms in a sound of thunder.

White clouds gather at the summit.

Sweet dew sprinkles Mount Xumi.

You drink the Wine of Longevity.

Free & unfettered, who could know you?

Sit & listen to the Stringless Tune.

Clearly know the creative mechanism.

Having already arrived at these twenty verses.

You have the details to ascend the Heavenly Ladder.

Another great post from ZERO.

Excellent poem...easier said than done.

The Jade Prism Inscription on 行氣/Xingqi - Circulating Qi

Postby ZERO » Fri Apr 14, 2017 1:19 pm

行氣/Xingqi - Circulating Qi

行氣,深則蓄,蓄則伸,伸則下,下則定,定則固,固則萌,萌則長,

長則退,退則天。天機舂在上,地機舂在下,順則生,逆則死。

Circulating Qi. Deep then gathered, gathered then extended, extended then lowered, lowered then settled, settled then solid, solid then sprouting, sprouting then growing, growing then withdrawing, withdrawing & yet Heavenly. The Heavenly beat is rising, the Earthly beat is lowering, follow this & live, oppose this & die.
"Perfect happiness is the absence of striving for happiness."
