Chi Gong for the Brain

Postby Sorcerer » Thu Oct 08, 2015 4:48 pm

How does Chi Gong affect the brain? Ie neocortex and brain etc. Any information on this? Chi Gong types best suited for promoting brain health and growth etc? Small Circulation might be a bit much at the moment. Generally, from the research Ive done, exercise is the best way to increase intellectual facultiiiiiies as well as brain health, though I wonder what type of addition Chi Gong would be...

Since all forms of proper Chi Kung increases the flow of blood and oxygen throughout the body, I would assume that even the most basic form would stimulate the brain and promote its health.

You were saying that practicing the Small Circulation might be a bit much at the moment, is that right? Embryonic breathing certainly seems like it would be an ideal practice for what you're talking about.
