Scheduling for Advanced Qi Gong

Postby Sorcerer » Mon Apr 13, 2015 10:34 pm

The greatest challenge for qi gong practitionery is to adhereto the practice in fast paced modern life / world. Some tips

1. Get up every day at the same time. It doesnt matter whether you go to bed at the same time, but get up regularly.

2. Try to work part time in a job / work and keep living expenses low. This willgive you structure, your part of society but enough free time to practice and train. Donty have a bad relationship tomoney like many philosophers mystics have, it is important to save and grow a modestbank account.

3. Belong to a practice community.

4. Better to live in a someqhat slow paced town rather than busy fast pacedcity, choose tolive nearnature and trees preferrably about outside of the busy areas. The Qi of where you live will influence your practice greatly. I currently live near a very busy street and it is difficult to practice Qi Gong.

6. If you are experiencing difficulty advancing, dont giveup on theqigong practiceor tell yourself that you are no good or dont have discipline for practice. Speak to seomeon who can help you sort out what the difficulty is.

Thank you for these tips, Sorcerer. I'd also like to add one of the biggest things for me was to ensure that I was scheduling time for it each day and actually sticking to it. Once practice becomes part of the routine it's easier to put it off or say that you will double the practice tomorrow to make up for something lost today, so it's very important to actually stick to your own personal goals I think and not start putting things off.
