Number of repetitions

Hello,
I read on a YJM's book that you should repeat qigong exercises 50 times for each kind.
I know from other sources that you should not use force (that is also in YJM book), and stop the exercise as soon as a tiniest sensation of tiredness arises.
What is your opinion?

depends what you are doing, for some exercises 50 would be far too many, especially if just beginning. and whether or not to use force, depends what you are doing. certainly not for white crane qigong but yi jin jing stuff, absolutely.
Even in mildly complex systems, any outcome is the wrong thing to target, with the process being where the focus should be.
