Plenty of them - and they all revolve around diligent application of fundamentals to practice. Always end energy work or meditations with stillness, there are also closing routines (shuigong iirc?) that include things like rubbing the head and so forth to dissipate any leftover qi that your stillness did not absorb.
Most important, application of fundamentals. You learn stillness first not because it is a beginner thing, but because it is a fundamentals thing that is part and parcel of every energetic practice. It is the foundation upon which the house is built and is the way to avoid problems with more powerful energy moving exercises.
Even in mildly complex systems, any outcome is the wrong thing to target, with the process being where the focus should be.
