Postby Shinobibeatz1234 » Tue Apr 19, 2011 6:48 pm

I have been reading Dr. Yang Yijin Jing and Xi Sui Jing book! But i also purchase two dvd from Shifu Yan Lei called Qi Gong Vol. 2 Xi Sui Jing and the 2nd one is the Yijin Jing and i also purchase one dvd by Shaolin Monk Shi Guo Lin on Xi Sui Jing and a Yijin Jing dvd by Shi De Qian. But I was wondering why are the training different? and is it safe to practice these dvds? because the master confirm that its safe but dr. yang said that it can be dangerous

In the book, he explains how and why it can be dangerous. So, that's what you need to study.

How are those DVDs?

Everyone is different but the fact that you are taking the time to say "how's it going" or whatever and him to acknowledge you is good I think.I like it

I must say, I used to browse Martial Arts Mart and rea Kung Fu and Tai Chi magazine, but the people there are just trying to commodify Shaolin.

Regarding the Da Mo sets, I personally wouldnt learn them from a DVD. Rather go find a proper teacher [?]. Simply having people on a forum say that it is safe doesn't really say much.
