YMAA Qigong syllabus

Postby DEADLI. » Wed Nov 18, 2009 1:38 pm

Could someone please list the order of the YMAA Qigong Syllabus.
I think Spine Qigong is level 1, but after that i'm not sure.
Is the Spine Qigong the same as the Stretching and Warming up set on most of the DVD's, or is there another spine set?

Thanks in advance.

This is something I have pondered as well, as there are so many styles. What I do now is based largely on my personal needs, and the level of training where I am at now. My main goals are mastery of my emotions / mind, and to improve my Karate training.
My routine as of now is in the morning I do Standing Meditation to clear the mind, work on my posture, grounding, rooting, centering, ect... After that I do the 8 pieces of brocade for similar reasons, and to promote good chi circulation. Finally I do Do Mo's 12 piece fist set to increase chi.
In the afternoon / evening I either do Karate or on a non-Karate day I do white crane soft qigong as a part of my Karate training and for health and well being as well.
I have tried sitting meditation such as abdominal breathing and MCO, but do not feel that I am ready for that yet, but do hope to get to the point where I pick it up in the future.
So there is my basic training routine, if anyone has any suggestions or tips I'd be happy to hear.
