QiGong Instructors

Postby Reave » Wed Sep 16, 2009 9:31 am

I was looking at the YMAA list of instructors and although the Taijiquan and Shaolin Gonfu gradings are listed along with the rank I cound't find if there was a comparable grading for Qigong. Does one exist? How do people become classed as QiGong instructors ?

Hi

You can become a Qigong instructor by attending the eight Qigong seminars, sometimes more than once is needed, and studying for a few years. After a while, you take a test with Dr Yang to become an assistant instructor. Then, after teaching for a while, and staying in touch by visiting and studying further, you can take a second test for Instructor rank. It takes a number of years.
