yijinjing

Postby vvanesse59 » Tue Feb 17, 2009 12:07 pm

I am becoming very interested in yijinjing and the book "Qigong for Health and Martial Arts" indicates there are 10 qigong sets presented. I was unable to determine from the "look inside" whether there is a yijinjing set included -- I think so but am unable to conclude from reading the table of contents or the index. If somone could advise me of its inclusion I would appreciate it..... Also if you can is the the 12 exercise set? Thanks, qigong student Vic in ILL (After I posted this question, I find another book "Qigong, the Secret of Youth" that appears to give in depth discussion of yijinjing -- still would like to know answer to 1st question)

Hello

The yi jin jing theory and exercises are taught in depth in the book Qigong - Secret of Youth.

It is more advanced qigong, and therefore it has certain dangers. It is best to study this kind of qigong with a qualified master.
