Looking for anything specific? A good friend and teacher of mine has a school in NYC called jing xin yuan, its a buddhist cultivation school, teaches qigong, meditation, wing chun, tai chi, I think bagua (I know he has some proficiency with it but I'm not sure if he teaches it)...but a lot of his focus is buddhist in nature, proper mind, proper action, proper cultivation. He returned from china last year after a couple years over there and came back to set up his school.

no problem - we each have to make our own determinations on what avenues are right for ourselves.
Lin is knowledgeable in those areas, though - its a clinic as well, he does energy healing and practices acupuncture, though I dont know that he is licensed in the US just yet. I wouldnt have a problem letting him needle me, though :D
He's the only teacher I've been to that took one look at my lower legs and went 'hmm, short there' almost to himself. (I had that osgood/schlatter knee disorder growing up...my bones grew faster than the tendons could accommodate, hurt like hell and bent my tibias over the years I was growing...) but I thought it was kinda funny that he was able to tell that just from a cursory glance.
imho, quite knowledgeable on meditation. had some pretty interesting sessions sitting with him earlier on last year when he had a brief stop back from china :)

good luck in your search!
