Hello, Can you take any multivitamins or any herbal supplements when doing qi gong?.......If you can, what herbal supplements are recommended to take......tnx!:)

If you are healthy, there is no need to take supplements of any kind.

theoretically, at least.

appropriate vitamins and herbal supplements are beneficial...what exactly is most often a personal thing, that's why there are herbalists/nutritionists.

Agreed! I've used nutrient and herbal supplements for a long time without any major negative aspects so far. If understood, used properly and appropriately as joeblast stated, herbs and supplements can be very beneficial. I use Taijiquan to stay healthy, and I use multi-nutrient and herbal supplements to stay healthy as well. Sometimes my normal diet isn't all it should be in our fast paced world and supplements can help make up for some of those "lost" nutrient aspects. :wink:

If you want to do more research on your own, try reading the book below. The author, Michael Tierra, is a highly respected master herbalist who has studied Chinese herbology for many years.
