Four Seasons Qi Gong

Hi,

I have a question about the difference between
White crane loosens wings (Bai He Song Chi)
White crane shakes wings (Bai He Dou Chi)

As I reference my old seminar handout I find that both the Spleen/Earth and the Lung/Fall/Metal forms end with "White crane shakes wings (Bai He Dou Chi)" but I remember from class the Spleen set ends with White crane loosens wings (Bai He Song Chi) followed by White crane shakes wings (Bai He Dou Chi) and the Lung set ends with White crane loosens wings (Bai He Song Chi) only.

I understand the difference between the "loosen" and "shakes" references as the former circles both arms and the latter circles one arm at a time.

To me it seems that they are complementary to each other in a slowly decreasing recovering or warm down portion of each set(Lung, Spleen) and probably both can be done together in each set/season.

I guess to sum up some questions:
Why are these forms "loosen" and "shakes" not done in both season sets?
Is it a mistake on the handout?
Which form is used as the end form for each set?

Does anyone have input to clarify?

Thanks,
CC
