I just wanted to share that I feel like I am really getting stronger energetically! I really think it is my Eight Pieces practice that has made me stronger.
When I first started doing Qigong, I found that I was wiped out very quickly and had to stop. (This was doing other DVD programs.)
I found Dr. Yang's Eight Pieces practice and started doing that, along with a different gentle cleansing practice. I started out with the Eight Pieces sitting practice, then gradually switched to the standing practice. I pretty much just follow the DVD and do the number of repetitions per exercise shown (usually about six reps per exercise).
It's now been about six months and I have started practicing some of my other programs. And much to my amazement I am able to get a lot farther than before and am not wiped out. It really is amazing.
