When sick ( a cold or flu, etc.) is it healthy to do Embronic Breathing (reverse breathing)?

From what I understand, its ok to do abdominal breathing but not necessarily circulation - when you're sick the body is in a weakened state. Embryonic breathing isnt necessarily reverse, though.

the place in which you meditate must be very warm! so that you get more yang qi et helps you fighting the sickess. Can work in winter too.

Boost your immune system to receiver faster with the Guardian Qi breathing. See other thread.

I would stick to Buddhist breathing (normal abdominal) for a while because it leads the Qi inwards towards the Dan Tian. It's an easy and good way to relax too, which I dare to bet helps getting better sooner.

Taoist breathing (reverse abdominal) is used to energize the skin/marrow and to store Qi in your Dan Tian, and will probably tense you more (unless you've mastered it).

Or as David states, increase your Guardian Qi (Weiqi) by using those techniques accordingly. But be warned, don't mix up the increasing/decreasing techniques of Weiqi-breathing, as it will make you even more sick if you (further) decrease your Weiqi.
Do not try !
