There's some info on it, also some of the comments after the article were interesting.

Thank you Brian! That was helpful indeed.

Hi Ceasar,
Thanks a lot for ypur article: http://www.gilmanstudio.com/print.php?id=103

It is very good and I was also looking for this kind of article.

After I saw your post, I went friday in a bookstore to look at some TCC book and see if there was anything on palm formation...and what I found was quite poor. We also talked about it on saturday during our training but we talked more about the "normal hand" that is mentioned in your article.

So for the moment I do not have much to say and I stay open to find any information because this subject is really interesting.

Regarding the Tiger mouth, you are right, they look different in TCC and Kung Fu. The TCC one looks more relax and open than the Kung Fu one. But I am not an expert and it can also depend on the practitioner and on which style he learned. Nevertheless, the idea of the plam formation in TCC and Kung Fu looks close, even if they are different.

Yeah for some reason not much info on it available. I've been starting to keep my hands at the formation more often lately...sitting in a bus, walking in store etc and I do notice that it has an overall effect on body, I like it.
