is there a differance between taiji ruler, taiji stick and taiji bang?

yes there is a difference

From my experience, they are the same with variations on a theme!
The bang can alternate as a tool to assist in qinna exercises in showing angles while providing the flexibility in qinna application and usage.

Taiji ruler (terminology) may be 'archaic' while taiji stick is a modern generalistic take on the 'ruler' (devoid of old feudalism) while some do use the bang as a training tool for qinna (however one spells it??!!)

Incorrect.

The "ruler" is a weapon with curves, the Bang is pretty much a plain stick. They have different sizes, shapes and uses.
