My Xiaojia teacher told me te other day that during the opening ceramony of the Beijing Olympics, China plans to give about 2 1/2 minutes to some of the best in China. This includes my teacher's shrfu's shirfu, who has a tudi that is about 50 years old who will preform a section of Imperial Yang Xiaojia. The is a rare system and form rarely seen in public.
When I have seem my shirfu get serious, he truns into some kind of animal or other worldy creature. This together with the energy he exudes is unlike any Tai Chi or MA I have ever seen in over 40 years of training - mind blowing for me!

After 2 1/2 years in China, it is back to Maryland tomorrow morning.
My wife and I have made some very good and special friends here and I will really miss them, and China even with its chaos, crowded buses, and
lacking many modern converniences.
