Shaolin Monk video series

Postby Dvivid » Mon Oct 21, 2013 12:35 pm

Hello,

I am starting a new video series with the Shaolin Monks who live in the USA next year! Any special requests for forms you'd like to see? Have you seen any Shaolin videos that you think are very good that I should be aware of? I'll keep you guys updated on this as it progresses.

I like this video.

Like this but a bit more polished and with good explanations and based around one form. A history and philosophy section, key points to keep in mind during training. Maybe you could overlay lines or coloration on parts of the video to demonstrate alignment or center of balance and power or focus. I would love a disk that is a bible for the form covered maybe even with key conditioning for the movements or aplication power solo and partner drills, pressure tests for structure, a really long disk even if it costs more. Years of work for the practitioner on one disk (or disk set) not just a form you learn quickly and badly to add to a long list. Maybe even sold with a small book? If its worth it I would pay for it.

Again I would like to put in a vote for Vajra fist, Luohan or black tiger. Something deep :)

Hi David,
How is the shooting going? Just a question are the forms like Chang Hu Xin Yi Men Quan the basic form or are all three of the forms/roads included? :)

Hi, I delayed replying, in hopes I'd have better news, but this is currently delayed until next year.

Ha. I remember this. When we met face-to-face. Who'd a thunk back then that we'd wind up co-workers?
