Hoping and Jumping

Postby John the Monkey mind » Mon Apr 19, 2010 6:03 am

As the weather is ok now I have started training White Crane hoping, jumping and flying jin. I am relay bad at parts of it as I have done very little like it before apart from forward jumping and hoping which I have never trained to a high level.

What level of attainment have people reached and has anyone got any advice?

What's the highest people have ever seen and what's the best within the YMAA?

How good was Dr Yang's Crane Master and his students?

Funny there must be something in the zeitgeist! The subject of jumping has been on my mind too, hence the post on "ways of thinking" yesterday.
The first form on the Feeding crane link I posted yesterday has a jumping movement on it.
