Can Anyone Recommend A Form?

Postby marshism » Mon Sep 08, 2008 10:42 pm

I am looking for a DVD that would teach me a good traditional gongfu form for tournament competition at the black belt level.

Can anyone recommend one?

This Lian Bu Quan form is traditional Kung Fu. When Dr Yang brought students to China to compete in 1994, this form won the gold medal, and afterward, some older judges ran over and said "We haven't seen that old-style kung fu in a long time!"

It is very practical kung fu, taught to Dr Yang, by master Li, Mao-Ching, who learned it from Han, Qing-Tan.

Here is a video from China 1994 of one of the performances/competitions with Lian Bu Quan, and 2 other White Crane forms:

Just a question about the Long Fist DVD...

Does it include Shi Zhi Tan?
