White Crane Style differences?

Postby jfraser » Fri Nov 10, 2006 11:21 am

How does the White Crane that Dr. Yang teachs differ from the White Crane taught iin Canton and Hong Kong. The Hong Kong style I have sparred with years ago would walk around me in circles, arms and fists out from the shoulders, ready to flale like a wind mill. Dr. Kang' S white crane seems to be an in-close system, if I understand that right :?: :)

Hi jfrazer,
from your description I would say that you might have been sparring with Tibetan White Crane. Which is very different from the White Crane systems from Fujian.
