DOM, thanks for the support on my question, i appreciate it. it's true that the pill can have nasty side effects and no doubt has lead to deaths. but 'natural' things can be harmful to us too. my son is allergic to peanuts and grass..they both can make him ill. i have a friend who has an anaphylatic reaction to mushrooms. you are right to point out the pitfalls of blindly accepting things and the greed of large companies, but we must see that there is some good in all things..that's what leads to all the lively discussion here :)
