Introducing Training into Other Avenues

Postby Sanfung » Wed Mar 16, 2016 4:11 pm

I saw this story earlier today:

And it got me thinking about other cases where institutions have been able to implement some form of traditional training into a regimen for something else. Is anyone else familiar with any examples of how training for some other avenue has implemented something taken from a traditional Chinese art? Naturally I can think of many areas where training is helpful, but not so many where it's actually been required.

Whenever something becomes a compulsion and a requirement, though, I worry that people only do it to get it over with rather than get something out of it.
