Hammer Fist Glen Levy fa jing demo
http://youtu.be/uzP41WzhrYA
Most of Eric Chen's students missed the seminar because of a Wushu competition. So Glen demonstrates the hammer fist on one of them for class. It was 1/16th force as opposed to Coach Eric's which was 1/4 - 1/2.

Can someone explain to me what is meant by the fractions of force in the video description

I have come across that before its just a way of saying half maximum or what ever. It is a bit imprecise but it gives you a ball park to play in. Being told do quarter impact in sparring tells you its medium semi contact rather than touch sparing or full contact.
