Meditation in class

Postby Dvivid » Tue Jun 12, 2018 8:24 am

What was your first meditation experience in martial arts class? I feel very lucky to have had an excellent karate teacher (Goju Ryu) when I was 11, who made us meditate during every class. That early foundation still benefits me to this day and meditation has become one of the most important parts of my life. Do your current classes involve meditation?

Master Yang now has a one-hour guided meditation sequence I recommend. Preview:

It goes through the basics, to Embryonic Breathing, and then grand circulation.

Of course his Neigong video is a 5-hour in depth exploration of that with deep theory, history, qigong and conditioning exercises.
