Will there still be these Chin na intensives in Boston and New York after January?

This January, there will be regular Qin Na Seminars at YMAA Boston, on January 19th & 20th, 2008.

The Summer intensive Qin Na seminar will be held in YMAA Retreat Center located in Humbolt, CA, from July 11 to 17, 2008. Regular intensive seminars are planned every year at this location.

I heard that the Boston intensive this January would be the last one and then after that they would all be in California.

I also heard that you could go to 6 of these intensives and be eligible to become certified in Chin na, is that true?

It is still early to give you a response whether this season will be the concluding one for seminars at Boston. A final decision will be announced in March'08.

About your second question; you are correct. After you have attended all 6 seminars levels, you are eligible to be certified as a Chin Na instructor. However, to be certified and to ensure quality of techniques and teaching, a final graduation test is required. This test is lead by Dr. Yang and attended by other certified instructors.

The Boston Seminars will continue two times every year, as it has become usual, during Winter and Summer. Dr. Yang will be teaching the Winter Season while Nicholas C. Yang, President of YMAA International, will lead the Summer Seminars. Please find more information of the seminars in 2008 and 2009 at: http://www.ymaa.com/seminars/year_2008
