Huang di Neijing - Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine

Postby brer_momonga » Tue May 01, 2012 7:09 am

I'd like to acquire an edition of Yellow Emperor's Classic of Chinese Medicine. Like similar old texts, I'll probably end up with several editions, so I'm not searching for just one: I realize that I'll likely consult each one for different reasons: some for the specialist, some for the amateur.

I've waded through amazon reviews but would like some advice from fellow martial arts practitioners... Can anyone recommend any English language editions of Neijing Suwen or point me to some other reviews of editions online? Favorites, ones to avoid, complete/incomplete, pro's/con's, interlinear/just English, glosses, index, your thoughts?

I dont find my way here very often :D

I have maoshing ni's yellow emperor's classic of medicine - it is excellent, but as its my only exposure to the material, I have nothing to compare it against - regardless, it contains anecdotes you'll never glean from Deadman's manual. It is very practical and diagnosis oriented. Highly recommended.
Even in mildly complex systems, any outcome is the wrong thing to target, with the process being where the focus should be.
