I agree with Dvivid that most likely the majority of people here are not interesting in starting fights. I would imagine however, as has been pointed out, if we had to fight, if attacked or loved ones were hurt, we would fight. I don't think I'm passive at any cost, but it's my natural state. We all have our motivations for training, and many of them overlap. I feel that training Shaolin Kung Fu and Taijiquan is the physical side to my mental meditation, and qigong. That whole, you know, balance thing..good question : )
